The Beach House at Deer Lake | Julie & Riley

We have been patiently waiting to share the beautiful wedding of Julie & Riley at the Beach House Restaurant in Boyne, Michigan! This venue was SO FUN! The perfect place to party into the night, with a tropical vibe and so much love in the air. This venue has a gorgeous spanning yard where the couple decided to exchange vows next to the shore. The bride wore a gorgeous beachy, beaded gown, standing beside her best friends and family wearing light sage green dresses. The bride’s uncle officiated their ceremony, but not after the couple’s dog, Bear, made an entrance! The guests braved the heat with ornate fans, such a pretty and functional touch! The couple was framed by stunning, lush, tropical flower arches, with waves crashing in the background.

During cocktail hour, guests grabbed their spicy pineapple margs from the bar, signed the customized petoskey stone surfboard-doubled-guestbook, and made their way to the yard. There they found personalized surfboard corn hole and giant Jenga that echoed the bright beach-y atmosphere. Personalized “Bear” koozies were making their way around the party and the sun was beaming! It was the perfect day for a beachside wedding. The florals carried from the aisle’s arch, to the welcome sign mirror, to the small bud vases on the cocktail tables. Behind the tent, The Beach House boasts beautiful stone arches riddled with vines and greenery. It made the perfect rainforest-esque backdrop for guests to take photos together and with the newlyweds.

Under the reception tent, a jaw dropping floral chandelier by AR Pontius Flower Shop floated above the dance floor, complete with dainty twinkle lights and vines. The head table’s floral arrangement spanned the entire six tables- it was a gorgeous explosion of color and such a fun install to be apart of. Most of the decor was simply white and gold, letting the flowers be the showstopper. And the dessert table! The sweets were overflowing and looked SO decadent- people were breaking in before dinner! The happy couple danced into the night next to the crashing waves, joined by their closest friends and family celebrating them. This day could not have been more beautiful!
