Charming Lake House Wedding | Morgan and Evan
A charming lake house wedding with an intimate dinner under twinkle lights. Do we need to say more?!
Of course we do. It’s all in the details after all!
Here in Michigan, we are known for our incredible fresh lakes. And if you are lucky enough, like Morgan and Evan, you have Grandparents with an incredible lake house. Even better—when that lake house is the perfect location to host the most wonderful wedding day.
It has been one whole year since Morgan and Evan exchanged vows in front of 25 of their closets friends and family.
Sometimes things don’t go as planned for the actual wedding day, but we have found that they always turn out even better than imagined. Morgan and Evan had to downsize their original plan as the venue they intended to celebrate at was canceled (thanks covid). However, we are still swooning over what resulted in a magical, intimate wedding. From the sunshine glistening off the lake, to the enchanting table scape and twinkle lights. Everything was so beautiful and the bride was truly a vision. Morgan’s headband and veil combo was absolutely to die for!
When it came to the details, the florals were perfection. Just the right amount of soaking in that last bit of summer, and mixing it with the fall cozy feel that the end of September brings. At the ceremony, the aisle was lined with blooms popping out of the ground and ended at a dreamy flowering arch. Insert the lake backdrop and it was truly the most ideal spot to say ‘I do’.
What a memorable night it was adding new memories to the charming lake house. The larger celebrations are coming back but we never want the small, special gatherings to end. September weddings here we come!
