The Ridge at Verterra | Sami and Drew

We are thrilled to share Sami and Drew’s wedding at The Ridge at Verterra in Northport, MI.  The Ridge, the only wedding location on the Leelanau Peninsula with views of Grand Traverse Bay to the east and Lake Michigan to the north, is tucked away amid the vines. All in one expansive view: immaculate rows of vineyards, natural woodlands, and as much sky and water as the eye can see. 

From the get-go, Sami and Drew exuded touches that were classic, modern, and minimalistic with whites and neutrals. The location was selected from Georgia. Sami’s late Grandpa had special ties to Northport, the couple wanted to get married in his favorite place. His presence was felt extra on this special day when there was a little rain in the morning, but it cleared off just in time. The weather was ideal for Labor Day weekend: warm, breezy, and sunny!

Numerous unique details that embodied the couple’s interests and personality were included throughout the day. At the same time, to the same song, Sami and Drew did a special dance with their moms. So Precious! And let’s not forget about the attire—The bridal party wore black. Sami’s dress was perfect for the vibe, an off-the-shoulder ballgown with a bow on the back – it’s giving vogue! 

Speaking of elegant style, let’s talk about the color palette. White, white, and more white with a touch of black. Classy!
