We’re absolutely thrilled to unveil the extraordinary wedding celebration of Liz & Carson, set against the rustic backdrop of Trillium Creek Rustic Barn in Ludington, MI. The instant we encountered this easygoing and adventurous duo, it was clear their wedding would be an unforgettable affair.

Liz and Carson’s journey to their Michigan wedding was an adventure in itself, as they reside in sunny California. With Carson’s family having a home in Pentwater, Michigan it became the perfect destination for their celebration. They exuded such a relaxed vibe throughout the planning process, making every moment a joy to be a part of.

Their love for travel and outdoor adventures played a significant role in shaping their wedding day. Drawing inspiration from their hikes in the Redwoods, they enhanced the celebration with a National Park theme and a boho, organic vibe. Liz even incorporated her firefighting background by using Smokey Bear wildfire tags as place cards, adding a personal touch that spoke to their shared experiences and passions.

The wedding day itself was nothing short of perfect. September provided the ideal backdrop, with just a brief sprinkle of rain in the early afternoon followed by breezy, overcast skies that lent a cozy warmth to the atmosphere. The Trillium Creek Rustic Barn, nestled amidst acres of natural beauty, provided a peaceful and picturesque setting for their festivities.

Liz and her bridal party stunned in mismatched sage dresses, perfectly complementing the boho theme, while Carson and the groomsmen looked effortlessly dashing in linen/tweed suits. Liz’s dress, adorned with lace and a touch of sparkle and elegance, with baby’s breath adding a whimsical touch to her hair.

We were honored to lend our expertise in event design to Liz & Carson’s wedding day. Drawing inspiration from their love for nature and adventure, we worked closely with the couple to create a vision that reflected their unique style and personality. From the National Park-themed decor elements to the boho-inspired accents, every detail was carefully curated to bring their dream wedding to life.

One of the most unforgettable moments was their first look on the beach, where sheer joy and excitement radiated from them as they laid eyes on each other. It was a magical moment that perfectly encapsulated the love and happiness shared between them, setting the tone for a day filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
