Venue3Two | Elizabeth & Kevin
We are thrilled to finally share Elizabeth and Kevin’s stunning wedding day at Venue3Two in Grand Rapids, Michigan! This beautiful, carefully renovated horse ranch oozes personality and charm. It was the perfect setting for Elizabeth and Kevin to exchange vows and dance the night away! While guests waited for the ceremony to start, they were quizzed on their knowledge of the couple with a personalized crossword game. This was such a fun, unique touch that also filled a gap in the day’s timeline. To kick off the festivities, walnut folding chairs lined the mansion’s courtyard in an arched formation for the couple’s closest friends and family. The bride wore a gorgeous v-neck gown down the aisle, with sheer details, intricate beading, and blue pointed flats, while the bridal party was dressed in a perfect array of blues and greens. The bouquets and subtle floral arches popped against the lush wooded area with whites and light greenery, as a string quartet created the perfect ambiance to flow into cocktail hour. The guests moved up towards the mansion and onto the brick-laid patio to grab a drink and mingle. Games were set up and kids were able to play around in the grass before the sit down dinner.
The reception was held in the Conservatory; a gorgeous space with tall ceilings, wooden beams, and windows following the roof line. Round tables were decorated with dusty blue cheese cloth runners, gorgeous cream vases with overflowing white blooms, and gold table numbers. The bride and groom’s Corgis were scattered on the dinner tables as 3D printed, and hand painted, favors made by the bride’s brother- such a sweet, special touch! Their night carried onto the dance floor with a popcorn station, and an “Hora Loca,” where Spanish music turned on and fun props came out; glow sticks, rabbit ears, glasses, and margaritas! This was a super fun high energy moment to get all the guests up and dancing together.
