Independence Berry Lemonade Cocktail

Like many of you the 4th of July is my favorite holiday. The cookouts, spending time on the lake and being with family and friends – what could be better?! If you’re a sucker for a good cocktail (like me) then you will love this Independence Berry Lemonade Cocktail.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 6 oz Sparkling lemonade (I use bitter lemonade because I don’t like it too sweet)
  • 3-4 Maraschino cherries
  • 3-4 Fresh blueberries
  • Sprig of thyme (optional)

 

Fill your cup up 3/4 of the way full with ice and pour your gin over the ice.

Add the maraschino cherries and fresh blueberries into the glass. As you add your maraschino cherries pour a little extra of the cherry juice into the glass.

Pour your sparkling lemonade over top the gin & berries and give it a stir.

Finish it with a sprig of thyme for added aroma and the pretty factor.

There you have it! Fix yourself a cocktail and enjoy your day!
