Bay Pointe Inn | Scout and Dylan
A perfect day: sun beams reflecting off the lake, love in the air, unique and thoughtful touches, an airy look giving a light, fun, and carefree feeling. Neutral and nautical. Add some nature: white flowers, a touch of stone and accents of greenery. The picture you’re seeing in your mind is only the beginning of the beauty that was Scout and Dylan’s day!
We’re biased, because Scout used to work with us here at Stellaluna, but this couple sure can execute a vision! Being high school sweethearts, their love for each other was apparent. You could feel their joy and excitement to finally be married! Bay Pointe Woods was the perfect setting for a dreamy wedding day in late spring. The ceremony took place outside in front of a stately white arbor. No corner was left untouched with detail, from little greenery flower pots to tall white stems “planted” in the grass at the top of the aisle.
Everybody’s jaw dropped when Scout came down the aisle in a modern and chic v-neck style dress with capped sleeves and a gorgeous open-back with floral detail. Dylan was grinning from ear to ear in his black tux, with his groomsmen by his side sporting gray suits and matching black bow ties. Scout’s selection of dusty pink bridesmaid dresses tied together the neutral and natural aesthetic. The couple beamed as they said “I do” and made their way back up the aisle as husband and wife!
Cocktail hour began and the Champagne flowed on the sunny patio outside of the reception space. Scout’s family has owned an event rental company for years, so all of the chairs, linens, large centerpiece vases, and soft seating were family-owned and top-notch. Atop the tables, greenery and white florals lined the tables, highlighted by a few tall statement vases scattered around. Scout and Dylan made their own table numbers by cutting into real stones! The modern look of the ghost chairs tied the whole vision together. Dinner was served, speeches began, and the most adorable and whimsical heart-shaped cake was cut. The night ended with friends and family surrounding the happy couple on the dance floor!
Seeing as Scout and her family know the industry, the planning and execution left no stone unturned (pun intended!) Our goal in the execution of a wedding day is to make sure the couple’s vision is maximized, keep everyone on schedule, and advocate for our couples, helping to be present and enjoy the moments happening in front of them. Our team has the experience of being able to mentally multitask, making sure things are placed correctly and look beautiful while ensuring that everyone is well-equipped and well-informed enough to achieve your wedding day dreams!
