Higgins Lake Wedding | Sarah & Matt
Sarah and Matt got married in August at Sarah’s family’s cabin on the lake. From the lakeside cabin, dancing in the sand, and a wonderful couple we had all you could need for this beautiful Higgins Lake wedding. It was the perfect place and the most beautiful weather you could ask for on a summer wedding day. It was a sunny 80 degree day with a comfortable breeze coming off the lake. The sun moved just in time to give the ceremony location full shade which was perfect for the guest. We were fortunate to have such an incredible location and family to work with, especially given the current circumstances.
Due to COVID-19 Sarah and Matt had to have their wedding downstate cancelled, that is when they decided to get married at Sarah’s family’s cabin on Higgins Lake. The cabin has a lot of history and was originally purchased by Sarah’s great grandfather in the 1940s and has been passed down from generation to generation. Sarah has grown up spending as many summers there as possible so it felt like the most fitting place to host an intimate wedding with 50 of their closest friends and family!
Three words to describe this Higgins Lake wedding: colorful, rich in history, and fun!
