Hope College Chapel Wedding | Lauren and Ben
We love a beautiful venue with some sentimental value. Lauren and Ben both went to Hope College, so Dimnent Chapel was a significant location.
The thoughtful moments came one after another when Lauren and her dad had their first look at City Flats Hotel. They then walked from there to the chapel (just the two of them)—which was the same walk they took several times when Lauren would return back to school. Even further, the women from Lauren’s family all wore bees on their dresses as a tribute to her grandmother. So many sweet, sweet details.
When it was time to say ‘I do’, the sunshine was beaming through the stained glass windows. With the checkered aisle way and stunning florals, it was a breathtaking sight! Chic, romantic and relaxed—just like the energy throughout the day.
After the ceremony the vibe shifted to high energy and celebration for the reception. Everyone made their way towards Boatwerks for some cocktails, dinner and dancing.
Guests were greeted with champagne glasses to find their seats, which always makes for such a beautiful presentation. The reception space was so elegant with the black linens and gold accents. For the guest favors, Monica’s cookies were placed on each plate with a gold ribbon tied around it, such a pretty (and yummy) touch!
To throw in one last memorable moment, Lauren and Ben cut their cake using a large dagger that was a family heirloom. So special and fun.
We feel so lucky to have been a part of this amazing day. It is such an incredible feeling seeing a wedding come full circle from the event design to the day of coordination. Cheers to the happy couple and more sentimental moments. 2023 wedding season we are ready for you!
