Journeyman Distillery | Christina and Todd
Journeyman Distillery was the perfect location for Christina and Todd. Although from Chicago, they frequent a beloved lake house near New Buffalo–making the Distillery an easy choice. The exposed brick, twinkle lights, candles flickering and smooth whisky warmed up the cool, November, cloudy day.
The ceremony took place in the same location as the reception and everything was seamless (we love a good flipping operation). Christina walked down the aisle in the most beautiful dress with floral details and the addition of her mothers veil that she wore on the day of her wedding. Her father did not know ahead of time and when he noticed the veil she was wearing it was a special and emotional moment! After saying their vows and a celebratory shot ski–Christina, Todd and Todd’s daughter walked down the aisle as a family.
Greenery down the center of the beautiful farm tables with candle lit lanterns (repurposed from the ceremony) was all the reception space needed to create something simple and elegant. We love a couple who loves to party and have a good time and that is exactly what the rest of the evening had in store. Dancing, drinking Journeyman’s tasty spirits and celebrating the happy couple!
We thrive on a well executed, seamless wedding day. Where the bride and groom feel like guests themselves at their own wedding. Many couples have so many things going through their head those last few weeks leading up to the big day, so some things can get missed. That’s where we also come in! After double checking that everything is good to go (even the things not on the list) we were able to order some last minute signage needed for Christina and Todd’s wedding day to help things go smoothly! From the little details like signage to making sure vendor’s (and guests) are in the right place at the right time: We got you!
