The Peninsula Room Wedding | Molli and Tom

The Peninsula Room wedding venue really embodies the Northern Michigan vibe. Tucked up in Old Mission Peninsula, it’s location is right off the water making an incredible view for ceremonies and a beautiful space for family and friends to celebrate.

It was a gorgeous Northern Michigan summer day—80 degrees, blue skies and a slight breeze off the water. Molli and Tom couldn’t have picked a better day.

With the turquoise bay in the background, rows of pine trees shading the guests and wine barrels with a simple, delicate floral arrangement—it set the stage for a lovely intimate and heartfelt ceremony.

Their first look was at the alter, so emotions were high in the best way and Molli and Tom both wrote their own vows, making for some misty eyes. Molli was stunning in her timeless white dress. The gown paired with the black attire of the wedding party and white florals really  captured the feel of the day: romantic, genuine and fun.

The energy continued to flow through the reception space with the light and airy linens, simple florals and candle lighting. The table numbers displayed Molli and Tom at the age of each table— which made for a sweet little detail. During the speeches there was a tribute to Tom’s dad who had past within that year that was very special. The day was truly filled with so much love.

During the reception guests could roam and gather in the outdoor space at The Peninsula Room. It was the perfect spot for people to enjoy a cigar or a s’more. Matches with their names on them for guests to take was a fun addition to pair with the cigars.

Northern Michigan weddings will always be some of our favorites. We enjoyed every second alongside Molli and Tom, helping them bring their vision to life. It was such a memorable day!
