Reserve | Sanjay’s 40th!
Happy belated birthday, Sanjay! We had a blast planning and designing your special surprise 40th at Reserve Wine & Food in Grand Rapids, MI! Krishna, Sanjay’s wife, chose their favorite date night spot to host drinks and dinner with their closest friends and family. So many of them flew in or drove many miles to celebrate Sanjay- it was such a beautiful display of the couple, and the great relationships they have built over the years.
The room was set in a golden, art-deco, mood, with Shinola-inspired, gentleman’s vibe details. Stunning florals from Spring Sweet littered the tables, bar, and a spanning charcuterie available for grazing. Krishna came up with the cutest idea to name a cocktail after each decade of Sanjay’s life- how fun! The littles ran around with the “Tiny Terror” mocktails, while adults chatted with “The Monk” in hand. The dinner, appetizer, and drink menus beautifully echoed the venue’s own font and energy- with deep red, thick lettering, and powder blue accented descriptions and headers. Oysters, crostini, and fried chicken and biscuits circulated around the party before the guests took their seats for a plated dinner. The Reserve served an incredible three-course meal, complete with sweet boards for everyone to find their favorite treat.
Sanjay, we hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as we did planning it. Cheers to good friends, a good party, and 40!
